Another Muslim doctor arrested for Female Genital Mutilation while the NYT pretends it doesn’t exist

A little-noticed book by conservative author Brad O’Leary, published in August, called, “The Poisoned Veil,” presented a well-documented case that Islam and Sharia law and customs are slowly but surely taking root in the West, and that includes the United States.

According to a book description posted at Amazon, among a number of Islamic customs that clash with Western culture, it discusses “the barbaric practice of forcing young girls between the ages 5-11 to be subjected to female genital mutilation, or sexual blinding, an act that has been condemned by the United Nations and Western governments, but is allowed and supported by Muslim religious leaders.” (Related: Read more reports of outrageous acts at OutrageDepot.com.)

The book notes further that the practice of female genital mutilation (FGM) has been happening for some time now in the U.S., but it’s not widely known because it’s not widely reported.

And for that, we can blame the usual suspects in the discredited and illegitimate “mainstream” media. (Related: Read BuzzFeed Caught Lying Again By Wikileaks… “Fake News” Is Alive And Well At BF.)

Not everyone in the media has been timid about this, though. Daniel Greenfield has been on this story, reporting April 14 that a Muslim doctor in Michigan was arrested in February after it was discovered she was performing FGM on very young girls from Muslim families.

Then, on April 21, the Detroit News reported that a second Muslim doctor has been arrested for allowing the first doctor, Jumana Nagarwala, to perform FGM in his office:

Federal agents arrested a second doctor and his wife Friday in a widening conspiracy involving female genital mutilation and members of a Muslim sect.

Dr. Fakhruddin Attar is accused of letting Dr. Jumana Nagarwala perform mutilations at his Burhani Medical Clinic on Farmington Road. His wife, office manager Farida Attar, also was arrested and is accused of helping Nagarwala perform the mutilations, according to a 14-page complaint unsealed Friday in federal court.

While this is officially the first case in the U.S., FMG has been taking place by the thousands of cases in increasingly Islamized Europe, Greenfield notes.

But to The New York Times, concern about being politically correct to members of the Muslim faith outweighs being honest and up front about the horrific nature of mutilating a 7-year-old girl’s genitals.

In fact, as The Daily Caller noted, the pinhead shills at the Times say the paper won’t use the term “female genital mutilation” because it’s “culturally loaded,” whatever that means:

Worried the term “female genital mutilation” might sharpen the divide between those who oppose brutally cutting away a little girl’s genitalia to deprive her of sexual pleasure and those who practice the “rite,” one New York Times editor instead refers to the ritual as “genital cutting.”

“There’s a gulf between the Western (and some African) advocates who campaign against the practice and the people who follow the rite, and I felt the language used widened that chasm,” NYT science and health editor Celia Dugger explained last week. American Leftists can say things like this because they don’t believe Western – and especially American – culture is any better or superior in any way to any other culture, no matter how barbaric other cultures actually are.

It’s not as though America is forcing other cultures to do things our way, but let’s face it – we have every bit as much right to defend our mores and values as other people have to defend theirs. But beyond that, there are legal standards in America that, no matter what country or culture you hail from, you must follow if you’re going to live in our country.

And mutilating a young girl’s genitals is not legally (nor morally) acceptable.

As for Duggers’ PC description of what alleged took place in Michigan, other human rights organizations shun the term “genital cutting” because it does not accurately describe what takes place, The DC noted.
